16th Food Allergy Study Day - Allergy Academy & Royal Society of Medicine Joint Event (2023)

Thursday 25th May 2023
The Allergy Academy is proud to Partner with the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) to put together a joint event focusing on new developments in allergy medicine. We have gathered experts on the 21st Century pragmatic implementation of clinical care for common conditions (food allergy), and to guide us through the latest evidence surrounding the prevention and future of food allergy.
We are thrilled to be able to offer a workshop on the Practicalities of Food Immunotherapy given by Professor Katherine Anagostou at the end of the day. This will have limited space so don't miss out!

Our aims ensure we are putting patients in the driving seat and enabling best care whilst adapting to needs of patient and the ever growing evidence base surrounding infantile eczema and food allergy, delayed food allergy, and food immunotherapy. The meeting will develop the clinicians’ ability to tailor management for:

 Skin and food allergy

  • Allergy screening in eczema
  • Early skin barrier management

 Delayed food allergy

  • Mast cell disorders
  • Non gluten wheat sensitivity

Food immunotherapy

  • Boiled peanut immunotherapy
  • Multiple food immunotherapy
  • Patient experience of oral immunotherapy
