Paediatric Allergy Advanced Nurse Practitioner

 

Rebecca Batt began her career in allergy in 2007 when she became a Paediatric Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist at King’s College Hospital, London. She ran nurse led outpatient and immunotherapy clinics and was responsible for all the food and drug challenges. She provided teaching and support for inpatients, ED and the community. She gained the MSc (Allergy) from Imperial College, London in 2011. Rebecca regularly speaks at study days and conferences and has published articles in nursing journals. Her special interests lie in anaphylaxis and patient education. She is now a Paediatric Allergy Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the Evelina Children’s Hospital.

 

Rachel De Boer

Rachel De Boer

Rachel has worked as a Dietitian for 15 years. She specialises in diagnosing and managing children with food allergy and has worked within Children’s Allergy service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital for over 6 years.

She is a committee member of the Food Allergy and Intolerance Group of the BDA and is on the Executive committee of the Allergy Academy. She is currently involved in research into cow’s milk and fish allergy.
